New York Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Waddington
(two of our dear friends from Long Island)

Family of the bride.  It was so amazing to be there for their sealing.  It was a small group, comprised mostly of Huntington Branch friends.  The sealer was Brother Miller (Brian Miller's dad), which made it extra special.  A very sweet spirit there.  I loved seeing and hugging all my friends in the temple as we were reunited there.  Our New Yorks friends, and the Huntington Branch will always have a special place in our hearts.  (Cheesy, but true.)

Friends waiting outside temple for bride and groom (the Mansuettos, Janet Srinivasin, Jessica Perez)

Time to party!  Such a fun reception.  Elegant, yet fun with good company and DANCING!
I was tearing it up out there.  Felt so good to just let loose a little with my friends and Matt.

The bouquet toss.  Cristina Cuadra , Aracely Pacheco and Colleen Mills go for it!  (Cristina won).

Huntington Branch friends

Deanna Wendt and Lita Bielza

Brothers from another mother...Matt and Branndon (and Sam)

Beautiful Vanesa...
she was pretty much the wedding coordinator, making sure everything was just right for her mom and Wayne.
The Perez family...Johnny is going to a community college now and doing great.

The Rebecks...serving everyone, as usual.  :)

Barbie fooseball at Fao Shartz

Rebecca prefers the finer luxuries of life...watching skaters at Central Park

Sam prefers to snooze

Sam actually loved Fao-Shwartz toy store (I was very disappointed with the bathrooms...for what used to be an "upscale" toy store...not impressive.)

The Met (that we weren't able to revisit, due to it's closure on Mondays)

A GREAT trip for us.  We flew into New York, drove to Boston, graced Harvard with Matt's presence (he met with some colleagues there), drove to Ithaca, NY (met with more professors at Cornell), drove back to Long Island.  We stayed with the Hardy family and had a blast.  (How did I not get pictures of them and game night with the Legakis, Gounaris, and Sim families?  Shoot.  We love you guys!)  We missed our girls and wished they could have come.  Everyone kept asking about them.  It was fun to introduce our new addition, Sam, to our friends.  I was in awe by the beauty of the fall colors of Long Island.  Made me homesick.  I took some deep breaths at Northport Harbor and we did a surprise visit to our old Landlords and friends, the Torettas.  It was so much fun to see everyone.  Wish we could have had more time to catch up with more.

We love you Torettas!  Debbie cried and was shaking with excitement when we surprised her at the doorstep.  Such a happy welcome.  I felt so loved.

Looks like a fun trip. It is always fun to get together with good friends. Sounds like a wonderful branch. We miss Sandpoint. We have been gone 8 months. I am confused about your life and whereabouts. Are you still living in Hawaii or is that finished? Love to catch up.
