Goodbye Central Park

Before heading out to Utah, we took time to go enjoy the city as a family one more time. Here are several pictures of the girls playing at Central Park. Amelia loved the water and Natalie loved climbing the rocks.

One of my favorite views in the world. Thank you Central Park for making my stay in New York so enjoyable. I will miss my romantic picnics with Matt on your grass, relaxing walks on your paths, and watching my kids play in you.

Simple Amusements

I had to buy cups for a church picnic and the girls got into them one day. Here they are playing "store." Notice Amelia in the background stacking the cups on the piano bench. (I hope no one is offended by their little hands playing with our picnic cups. I wish I could say I washed each of them out after...but I didn't.)

Trip to Utah in January

So in January, me and the girls took a spontaneous trip to Utah (Matt was working until the end of it). I was very sick with pregnancy, so we layed low with family. The girls had a great time. Thanks to my Mom and Dad for taking care of me (and the girls) during this hard time. I'm so extremely grateful for Matt and my families. They are the best. They really are.

During our stay in Utah, me and the girls visited the Lehi Bishop's Storehouse one night with my parents who were serving as missionaries there. They would help distribute food to people in need, as well as organize groups of youth or others who would perform service for people in need. Good job Mom and Dad.

While in Utah, we also got to spend time with some of Matt's family. Here I am with Jenny, Matt's only sister. We're both preggie, only she's further along and showing already here. This will be the second time we have babies with in 6 months of each other.

That's what happens when you read Harry Potter too many times.

Christmas Day

Christmas Eve...I know this should be an Easter Post

I realize I'm late here with updating my Christmas pictures just after Easter now, but I was sick and pregnant for a while there. (Still pregnant, no longer sick. Yay.) The sad news is...we've lost our camera on a recent work trip to NC, so now we have no Easter pictures to share. We had a fun egg hunt with church, and had friends over on Sunday to share a happy meal. We learned how to play a new card game too. We spent much of our Easter weekend watching General Conference, finding shells at the beach, and playing at a park/farm. Being outdoors as much as possible now that the weather has warmed up. But back to Christmas Eve...



Here is Matt, Natalie and Amelia in a little Christmas pageant we did at the Hardy's house Christmas Eve. The Hardy's (Russ, Carmen, and 6 kids: Alex, Hailey, Hannah, Spencer, Kensington, and Zachery) just moved here last summer and are fast becoming favorites of ours. I taught three of the kids piano lessons until I became pregnant. They're a lot of fun and hard workers at church too.



Amelia got to be the cow in the Christmas story. Very exciting but mostly cute.

Amelia's 2 Year Birthday

This year we took Amelia to Chucky Cheese for her birthday. She wanted her friend Jacob Miller to come too. Pizza, fun games, rides, tickets, and prizes. What more could you ask for in a birthday party?
